FRAA Girls Softball

We are a volunteer run organization for the benefit of helping young ladies learn the game of fast pitch softball.

FRAA Softball teaches the fundamentals of throwing, catching, fielding, and hitting while having fun at the same time. The girls will learn about playing as a team with their friends and classmates as well as the rules and strategies of fast pitch softball.

As a volunteer run organization, we are always looking for help with the many opportunities that are available. Volunteer roles include coaching, field maintenance, equipment coordinator, league commissioner, and team parent. If you have any interest in volunteering, please email [email protected]

Softball Seasons

Spring Softball

Season: The season will begin in mid-March with three weeks of practice. A typical season will include 10 to 15 games and run through mid-June, but individual teams' schedules will vary. Playoffs will be held during the week following the regular season.
Age Determination: Girls are placed into the appropriate league based on their age as of September 1 prior to the start of the season (September 1, 2025 for Spring 2026 season).
Uniforms: Uniforms include jerseys, pants, and socks.
Fields: Home games will be played at Murrysville Community Park or Newhouse Park, while away games may be played at neighboring communities.

Fall Softball

Season:  The season will begin at the end of August with three weeks of practice. A typical season will include 10 to 15 games and run through mid to late October, but individual teams' schedules will vary.
